-ou know what's dumb? That we're just now getting to Cherrygrove. I got her a week ago! [Hello, Route! Have a Tifa! The video is a bit wobbily and seems to be from down below, next to her.

She huffs and crosses her arms.]

I'm sure it didn't take me this long last time! But who knows. [She shakes her head] It's been six years for me! [She hums a bit.]

It still feels really surreal you know? I mean...when I left you were a Marowak. And I had a lot more pokémon. It feels like a dream. And then I woke up to flames and burning and---[She stops walking and cuts herself off, a small shuddering sigh escapes and she looks up at the sky]

I technically met Aerith here for the first time...I didn't know she was scared of the sky and now she's-- [Tifa shakes her head and keeps walking]

I wonder how long it's been for you. Not too long I hope! I remember time working differently over here! I turned sixteen here! [She laughs.] Turned sixteen again when I got back home, though.

Hey Johnny... [Tifa looks down at the 'gear, smiling. Soon enough though she furrows her eyebrows.] Johnny...I let you carry that thing because for whatever reason you really wanted to...don't tell me you wanted to record something... [The little Cubone makes a sounds and Tifa reaches down towards the 'gear] I told you not to turn this thing o--[Off it goes!!]

It's no problem! I understand. But well. When I woke up some things were vague? I didn't remember much but it felt like a strange dream. Everything was blurry so I just shrugged it off. It wasn't until I came back here that I remembered all the important bits.

Like a dream... how curious. And you had to start over completely, with a new pokemon as well?

I wonder if the pokemon you had previously may remember you and wish to return...

Actually I had Johnny the first time I was here! He seems to remember me. But yeah, I have to start from scratch, basically. When I left, Johnny was a Marowak and now he's a Cubone again.

I was told that sometimes pokémon who've been left behind will make their way over to this "Foster Home" -I don't remember having that when I was last here- I imagine that if Johnny remembers me, if the rest of my team is still around, they'd remember me too.

Hopefully! But I also hope some of them were able to move on with their lives and be happy. I'd feel bad if it turned out they all waited so long for me.

I suppose it begs the question of how long you were actually gone for, here, versus how long you were gone as you perceived back home.

Turns out it's been about two years here, that's quite a while. I hope they were able to move on with that much time.

Although, you're right. It was much longer for me so maybe my perception is a bit skewered.
