[There's a Tifa holding a Budew in one arm, the little pokémon makes a little happy noise at the camera]

Hey, so I made it to Azalea finally and turns out my travelling partner is in that coma thing. Nurse Joy says he's been like this for a while, so I'm assuming he's doing that thing where you go to sleep for a while and wake up and suddenly you're more knowledgeable about what happens in your future.

That is still happening, right? I don't have to worry about him, or anything, right?

[She gives the 'gear a skeptical look. Then there's some sounds and Tifa looks away from the camera for a moment.]

Also... [She turns the device and now there's a weedle and a caterpie on screen.]

These two little guys have been following me around since a bit before arriving at Violet. They won't go when I tell them too, but they won't fight my Johnny or let themselves get caught, what's up with that? It's nearly been two weeks! I've been leaving them alone but with the way the nights have been recently....

I'm trying to. My Pokémon have been able to keep most of the ghosts away... I just seem to have the worst luck in bumping into them.

[He smiles a bit though.]

I'll be fine though. I'm more worried about the guys asleep.

Hopefully it will pass soon, whatever it is. I'm not sure what all has changed, but I don't remember anything like this lasting too long.

Most events I've seen have lasted for a few days, week at max. Hopefully this won't be one of the longer ones.

I hope so as well! While I'm not too worried, I'd rather have my friend conscience. I'm sure you do as well.

[A small pause]

Speaking of which, how long have you been here for?

Of course.

[He nods.]

I've been here ever since May last year... so almost a year and a half.

It's already been a while for you, then.

...Huh...that was about as much time as I was here the first time.

How long were you gone from this world?

[If Shiraishi would have the old Shiraishi's memories, he'd actually remember Tifa but alas.]

Uh...nearly two years. If my math is correct....Although it was six years in my world.

[If Tifa hadn't been gone for six years in her timeline being scared for life, she might've remembered. Although, he looked familiar but seeing as he said he didn't get here until May of last year and Tifa's been gone since November of two years ago...there's no way]

Wow... that's a long time. In both cases.

[Six years in your own world. That would mean University already an even that would be almost done.] If I'd have any memories of the last time I was here, I'd have been gone for half a year, or so they say... but two years in between visits is the longest I've heard of.

[That's more of thought out loud than actually a conversation continuer, to be honest.]

You were here before? And you don't remember...that happened to a friend of mine. He came here about three times and never remembered his previous visit..

[She pauses]

Well, I remember there were a lot more people back then...

That must have been horrible... not only for him, but for you as well.

[He remembers all too well how much he hurt a friend for not remember her. Even if they were from the same world.]

[She gives him a small smile and pushes a strand of her long hair behind her ear.]

Well, it can't be helped. It wasn't fun, and I was very young at the time. But it's better than not having them around at all.
